After being in the Industry for more than 12 years Sanjay Gupta is finally trying to do some "good" work . And , no, we are not saying this because of his "direction" credentials , but because he has assembled some exceptionally talented people like Gulzar , Javed akthar , Nana Patekar , Shyam Benegal to name a few for his next film "Dus Kahaniyaan" .It is not as if he has not done good work. Films like Shootout at.... and Kaante have been decent. But still something has been missing .

Plot

There is no plot . It is an anthology film . It is a "Garland" of short stories , written by different writers . These short stories are filmed by different directors . The stories are in no way related to each other . The stories are said to be completely different.

Here are the storylines of some of the stories to appear in the film:

A highway symbolized two friends’ companionship, their tacit love, but its unpredictable and volatile turns would radically change their lives

A writer is driven to madness after he makes a startling discovery about the woman he loves.

Five friends start spinning stories in a story that will spin them around.

Through an internal conflict between an underworld Don and his best friend, one weaves through a stylish game of friendship and betrayal....

So what is this film's USP . 10 different stories that explore different emotions is its USP .
The actors in the movie(with few honourable exceptions) are no great shakes .

Prediction :

Sanjay Gupta might just pull tis one off . Ram Gopal varma tried "anthology" , but all the short stories in RGv's film dealt with just one emotion , "fear" . "Darna mana hai" was a flop . dus Kahaniyan , on the other hand deals with differenr emotions and hence public might like it .It might be a Hit .
