The Plot
A classic case of opposites attract.
Aditya(Shahid Kapoor) is a broken man . He is a rich , reclusive, industrialist who has inherited a hollow empire . The girl he loves is about to get married .Unable to take it any longer he boards the first train out of mumbai.
Geet(Kareena Kapoor) , a happy go lucky babe , who loves to yapp away all the time , is leaving Mumbai for Bhatinda in Punjab . After that she has plans to elope with her Boyfriend(not shahid Kapoor) .
Aditya has no idea what kind of roller coaster ride he is geting onto when he meets Geet .
Geet just talks and talks , makes friends and attracts troubles in a jiffy . Live life kingsize , is her motto . Aditya saves her from one stuicky situation and she lands into another one within no time.
Geets yapping irritates Aditya to such an extent that he gets off the train . In an effort to get Aditya back on train Geet misses the train . Aditya and Geet are stranded on a desolate station sans luggage and money .
Left with no option they make their way to Bhatinda using Taxi's, busses,Camel carts , crossing desrts and lakes , meeting all kinds of people on the way .when they arrive at Bhatinda they are are thought of as a couple . Geet , impatient to meet her boyfriend in manali leaves with aditya even as her family is under the false impression that Aditya is her Geets Boyfriend. For Aditya , things start looking up when he returns to Mumbai while Geet leaves for manali . As they go their separate ways their is just one question , Is this the end of the journey or is their anything else in store for this chalk and cheese couple .
