Konkona sen has replaced Tabu in Mira Nair's mega ambitious project "shantaram" based on gregory David roberts novel of the same name.the lead part is played by Johny Depp and the project is expected to begin by the end of next year .Earlier too konkona had replaced Tabu in zoya Akthar's directorial debut due to some scripting differences . similarly Tabu had replaced Konkona sen in Mira Nair's much acclaimed "NameSake" .Seems as if their is some kind of musical chairs going on between these to talented actresses.
