Although Sanjeevni claims she isn't disappointed, the singer has problems with the way the show is conducted.
"The focus wasn't on singing. Sur and taal didn't really matter.. and sadly, that's all I know," she says. Remind her of her tiff with judge Mahesh Bhatt and she insists that the viewers were only shown one side of the story."The channel distorted the incident. It was obviously a publicity stunt. How else did a Hindi news channel get hold of it so soon? I didn't pass on any information to anyone," she says indignantly.
Sanjeevni claims that all she wanted to do was to explain to Bhatt that it was unfair to compare Suman and Sachin Tyagi since the latter is obviously the better singer.
Disappointed
But Suman has a music album to his credit. "Today, anyone can cut an album. To be a singer, you need to have musical knowledge. When we started out, Shekhar knew nothing about music. He can't sing," she asserts.
The playback singer is pleased about one thing though: being on Jjhoom India has given her a platform to showcase her singing skills. "It's a pity that I'm remembered more for my tiff with Mahesh Bhatt rather than for my songs," she sighs.
Sanjeevni signs off saying that she hopes Roshni Chopra wins the reality show because she has the best voice.
